MSE supports state of the art GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
applications and
has used GIS for over 20 years in evaluation of land use, watershed analysis
and environmental projects nationally and internationally including third
world countries where little land based mapping is available. We have used
GIS to evaluate watershed impacts from major mining operations in Indonesia,
large-scale agricultural development projects in Africa and assessment of
widespread pollution studies in Egypt. Our applied GIS skills have been
used to support numerous watershed assessment projects, TMDL studies,
land use analysis, stream diversion evaluations, environmental assessments
and litigation projects where visual representation of geo-spatial data is
critical. Specific GIS services include:
- Geospatial database design and development
- GIS training
- CAD design
- GIS applications development and programming
- Cartographic design
- Geospatial data compilation
