MSE provides our governmental and private clientele with a wide range of Watershed Science, Hydrology & Natural Resource services including: watershed assessments, total maximum daily load (TMDL) analyses for impaired streams, aquatic and terrestrial habitat assessments, mitigating and managing wetlands, and environmental studies in conformance with NEPA. MSE supports state of the art GIS applications and has used GIS for over 20 years in evaluation of land use, watershed analysis and environmental projects nationally and internationally. We have used GIS to evaluate watershed impacts from major mining operations in Indonesia, large-scale agricultural development projects in Africa and assessment of widespread pollution studies in Egypt. Our applied GIS skills have been used to support numerous watershed assessment projects, TMDL studies, land use analysis, stream diversion evaluations, environmental assessments and litigation projects where visual representation of geospatial data is critical. MSE has also developed large scale property ownership databases and applications to aid in land and resource management. Specific GIS services include:
